About Niles First

Since 1814, First United Methodist Church has been serving the Niles community through expressions of God's active love. Originally located downtown, the congregation moved to its current location on North Crandon Avenue, next to Stevens Park, after a 1951 fire burned down a previous building.

We share the love of Jesus in the community serving Community Meals two months every year. We contribute to the Niles Community Food Pantry, donate school supplies to the Niles City Schools, and so many other ministries locally and abroad.

At First United Methodist Church, our mission is:

"To Know God...To Love God...To Serve God."

Come join us for worship or any of our other ministries and be part of what God is doing in and through First UMC!
